American GK Model Works produced the E60CF as a second-generation-design freight electric based on information
from General Electric. No prototypes were ever built. The first generation locomotive was the E60C, of which 6 were built for the
Black Mesa & Lake Powell Railroad in northeast Arizona, a now defunct (as of 2019) coal mine-to-power-plant line.
AGK's model used Athearn trucks, motor and SD9 frame (with fuel tank). I had the curved sides of the fuel tanks
milled off, then I added battery boxes and air tanks using styrene. Some of the models that I acquired over the years
lacked pantographs, so several of the units have pans from GG1s, and a few have foreign Faiveleys.
