How to order
Washington, D.C. / Baltimore area train shows

Chessie System Expanded is a remastering

of all of my Chessie footage,

as well as 16mm film from Norm Blackwood.

It contains more freight cars from fallen flag railroads,

and runs 6 hours and 48 minutes on three

double layer DVDs.

The footage was originally recorded on

16mm film, mostly VHS tape, and 3/4" tape.

From around the Washington, D. C. metropolitan area and then some,

as well as from the west, especially in Washington state.

Music and Narration Free! All Natural Trains!

These programs cover over 40 years of railroad videography. Standard Definition material was mastered on VHS,
broadcast quality tape formats and DVCAM. High Definition material was digitally mastered at 1920x1080 resolution. I've also
included some 16mm film from the 1970s, some of it shot by Norm Blackwood . Each program comes with log notes
listing dates, locations, motive power and where possible, the names or symbols of trains. In addition, locations and dates are
superimposed over the first scene of each location. There is No Narration and No Music. Each
program is a chronological composite of footage, shot between the 1970s and May 2019. Locomotives, cabooses (if any) and
major portions of the trains are presented.
